A clear summary of the protections, responsibilities, and expectations intended for future White Oak puppy families.
Veterinary Examination
The buyer will be expected to schedule an examination with a licensed veterinarian shortly after bringing the puppy home. The final contract will state the exact examination period and the documentation required.
Health Records Provided
Each puppy family will receive the health and care records available at the time of pickup, including age-appropriate veterinary information, deworming history, vaccination information, and identification details when applicable.
Covered Conditions
The final guarantee will identify the specific congenital or hereditary conditions covered, the length of coverage, and the veterinary documentation required to make a claim.
Buyer Responsibilities
- Provide routine veterinary care and follow professional medical advice.
- Maintain appropriate nutrition, exercise, body condition, grooming, and preventive care.
- Avoid excessive forced exercise or high-impact activity during puppy growth.
- Contact White Oak Goldens promptly regarding a serious health concern.
- Provide requested veterinary records if a health-guarantee claim is made.
Limits of the Guarantee
The final agreement may exclude injuries, accidents, infectious exposure after pickup, preventable conditions, reproductive outcomes, cosmetic traits, temperament changes caused by environment or handling, and conditions resulting from failure to provide reasonable care.
Return-to-Breeder Commitment
A future White Oak Golden should never be surrendered to a shelter or transferred without communication. If a family can no longer keep the dog, the contract will require that White Oak Goldens be contacted first.
Available Remedies
The final signed contract will clearly state any remedy available under the guarantee, the supporting documentation required, and the responsibilities of both parties.
